Weddings have been a highlight this season. From flaunting fancy destinations, to pretty decorations, to expensive trousseau, to a big list of invitees, to the never-ending list of functions, to deciding on amazing delicious food delicacies and sweets, to wearing the best designer outfit and wearing your best makeup and hairstyle looks, it has been the talk of the town. Indian weddings never fail to impress. It gives you a mixed feeling of meeting your new family members and leaving your old family behind with a lot of golden memories of a lifetime. But the bond is never broken, it gets stronger with time and distance.

Marriages changes the life of a person and his/her aspect towards life. Arrange Marriage or Love Marriage, both kinds add maturity and a sense of responsibility towards each other. Marriage is a promise of a lifetime to be together in good or bad, whatsoever. Some tend to make it till the end solving all the hurdles as they come and some stumble upon the half way. Nevertheless, this only makes a person stronger with each passing day. And yes, time passes away with some super speed and I keep saying this time and again.

Now diverting a little focus on the details of my look. Talking about my look for a friend’s Haldi function that I recently attended, I choose an Aqua Green coloured Indian outfit with heavy work detailing on chiffon material. From a known Pakistani designer, Nomi Ansari, the ensemble looked neat and comfortable. The makeup look was more on the gold tones and hair tied up in a braided bun with gold flowers tugged. The neat hairdo helped me dance my way through the night without missing a beat 😉 Finished the look with gold and platinum bold earrings from Mom’s closet, snake skin printed BCBG clutch and blue coloured pointed shoes with kitten heels. I felt the look was more relaxing and elegant. What do you guys feel? Also, stay tuned for part deux.
COMING SOON!…. (two more wedding inspired looks)
