As they’ve rightly said, “Makeup is self-confidence applied directly to the face.” A good makeup look boosted with the right amount of confidence can take you places, plus gives you good pictures too 😉 So very recently, ColorBar Cosmetics hosted a smokey eye makeup tutorial for bloggers which also marked the launch of their new eyeshadow palette in shades Hook Me Up (which is more pink and maroon based), Party All Night (which is a mix of vibrant and pop colours) and Smokey Eyeshadow Palette (which is more nudes and blue shade). These eyeshadow palettes are reasonably priced at INR 1350/- and readily available at any ColorBar store. They are highly pigmented with glitters which adds glamour to your smokey eye look for a brunch, lunch or a party.
At the event, a bunch of Beauty Bloggers were invited and introduced to these palettes. A step-by-step makeup tutorial for building the right base for your face to building a glamorous smokey eye was taught by makeup professionals from ColorBar. Smokey eyes can only be black in colour and worn in the night for parties is a myth. You can wear them at anytime in a day along with a pop of your favourite colour if you master the art of proper blending while creating a smoky eye look on yourself.
A makeup professional from ColorBar named Shabana created a blue and brown toned smokey eye look for me matching my outfit. She used the eyeshadow palette, Party All Night which also happens to be my most favourite from the three palettes to create the look. It sure looks great *not going gaga by doing self compliments, but you can check out the amazing look she created on me by yourself and decide* It was a great learning experience, especially when you love makeup and everything about it so much. We all do, right girls?! 😉
It feels so great to share all these experiences with you guys. Hope you’ll like it too. Have you girls tried the new smokey eyeshadow palette by ColorBar? If yes, tell me which of these is your favourite in the comments. Till then, Go Glam and Give A Damn 😉
